As you know that a Firewall helps to prevent hackers or malicious software from gaining access to your personal computer through the internet or a network.
In Win-7, Windows Firewall comes with the Advance Settings that help administrators to manage network to secure network traffic in an enterprise environment. If you have altered advance settings and want to revert to default settings, You can easily restore Firewall to default settings.
In this article, you will see how to revert altered Firewall settings to the default settings:
Step-1:
Go To START > Type Windows Firewall in search box > Click on Windows Firewall option from the search list.
Or
Go to START > Control Panel > Click on Windows Firewall to open Windows Firewall window.
Or
Go to START > Control Panel > click on System and Security > then click Windows Firewall to open Windows Firewall window.
Step-2:
Now click on Restore Defaults option in the left pane. Click on Restore Defaults button again to remove all user configured Firewall settings.
By this way you can Restore Firewall to Default Settings in Win-7.
